The Global Standard for Food Safety Issue 9 was published in August 2022 and came into force on 1st February 2023. It introduced updates to address the changing needs of the food industry following GFSI benchmarking requirements, assisting manufacturers in the production of safe, authentic, legal food and managing product quality.
