Introduction
In Cameroon, L’Agence des Normes et de la Qualité (ANOR) has implemented the Pre-Shipment Evaluation of Conformity (PECAE) program. As a result, all regulated import products must comply with approved national standards or technical regulations and will require a Certificate of Conformity (CoC). Under the PECAE, products to be imported will undergo verification and testing at the country of supply (exporting) and a Certificate of Conformity (CoC) will be issued to demonstrate that the product meets the applicable standards.
