Hi, everybody. My name is Jared. I am one of the team leads on the internal desk and I'm going to be your guide today through this webinar about the Orion portfolio solutions platform. So let's get started. The first thing that I want to point out are going to be our little. Puzzle piece up here, this is going to be our integrations tab. This is a way that you as the advisor can integrate with other tools that you're utilizing possibly Red Capital or Redtail or utilizing the Orion Planning option. Orion Planning is a full-fledged cash flow based and gold based financial planning tool that we acquired a year or so ago. That we have made available to all advisors no matter the amount of a UM on our platform. So it's a great tool. If you're looking for the financial planning tool or maybe change from one of the financial planning tools you're using already, the next thing I want to point out is this little Quick actions tab. This makes it a lot easier to locate either doing a proposal or opening accounts. Or creating a service request. And I'm actually going to talk about all three of those, let's say in this webinar. First, I want to touch on one of the probably the biggest tools being utilized by advisors right now and that's our overlay models. What is an overlay model? Simply put, it is just a way to build a model using the models on our platform. So basically a model of models and it's as simple as really just clicking add overlay model. And giving it a name, so we will just say sample model or PS. And then we just hit this click add models. And I'm going to use just a couple of my managers in our platform and their models to create a model of models so that I can then utilize it in our proposal tool in our new account wizard which is our online account opening tool. And it just makes things a lot easier. So I'll use Ocean Park. They're one of our money managers on our platform, main management. I will use their active sector rotation tapes. I will use their hedged equity portfolio. So as you saw, I just clicked those three. You don't need to click one, add it to the model, click again and do this over and over again. You can click as many of them as you want. And then once you hit add models, it'll automatically put them into our proposal tool. So I'm just going to give them a very easy allocation. But I wanted to point out a couple of things here. We can disturb between contribution method and distribution method. So we wanted all of the distributions to come out of Ocean Park. We could do that or if we wanted all of our contributions to go into tapes, hedged equity, I just say that because you're able to do. Whatever you want. So we can add upward and lower limits to this, and we can also set up a rebalancing frequency. But the real reason that people are utilizing this on our platform is scalability. Every advisor is looking for a better mousetrap or an easier way to do things, and I feel like this is the best way to scale your business quickly and efficiently. So what's really nice is as you start adding clients to these models. You'll see it under here Assigned registrations. This will allow you to see all of the balances and all the clients within this model. And the nice part about this is this, once you start making changes to this model, it will automatically change everybody else that is situated in this model. So if you have 10 people in this model, you wouldn't. You would have to go into the each of their accounts manually and do them. Using this, it'll do that all for you. So a lot of advisors will have four or five models based on the risk profiles. And as a client comes in, they'll fill out a risk balance questionnaire. There are a certain number, they go into a certain model and then we just move on to the next client. So this just shows the ability to quickly scale your business. So I'm just going to save this sample model OPS. And I want to show you how quickly and easy it is to then utilize this model in our proposal tool. The reason that we build these models, again because of scalability, but then we want to use these in our proposals. So you have a client sitting in front of you. We can quickly go and create a proposal. We don't need to remember the allocation, which models we used because it's going to automatically pull those in. So what we're going to do is we're going to use a sample model of OPS and we're going to create a proposal. So this is our six step proposal tool. It's very easy to use. All we really need to do is start with a first and a last name. The nice thing is that we can pull in client information from Redtail. So if you're a Redtail advisor, you can click on this search your clients. Pulling all their information, now that information is not going to show up on this proposal, but if we open a new account from this proposal, that's where you're going to see all of the Redtail information. Importing it now if you're one of our advisors who's utilizing our wine planning, we will then be able to tie in the planning tool with this proposal tool and we will see that next in steps two and three. So first and last name and hit next step. As this loads, step two and three are going to be utilized if you're using Orion financial plan. If you're not an advisor utilizing that, then we can just have you skip those. But the Step 2 is just goals. So like I said, Orion financial planning is a goal based and cash flow based financial planning tool. So in case that when you're sitting in front of your client or your client had mentioned that they've forgotten to set up a goal for educational savings, we can click on educational savings and we can start that process and it will tie into the financial planning tool Step 3, Personal Finances. This is just going to list all of the clients accounts that the client has tied to their client portal, the nice little. Part about using our platform is each client has a client portal. Within that portal they can go in and log into their credit card accounts, their mortgage accounts, maybe outside, outside investment accounts. They can pull all that in for free and utilized a lot like Personal Capital or Right Capital or Mentor, any of those that they can utilize and that will then show up right here on this page. So we're just going to start at #4. It's our risk tolerance questionnaire. You can e-mail this to the clients. So if the client is in Barbados and they want to fill this out, you would type in the client's e-mail here and press send and it would look like it's coming from you, the financial advisor, They will fill it out. And once they submitted, you can come back into this proposal and then you would be able to see how they answered all of their questions. And then at the very bottom, it would give you a risk score. For the sake of this webinar, I'm just going to say I would like to impose my own. So I'm going to impose a risk score of 55 and we're going to go on to the next step. The next step is the proposed accounts. This is where we're going to put in all of the information. We're going to select our Custodian, TD Ameritrade. We're just going to select roll over. I RA and then we're going to put in an amount, we'll do 100,000 and then up here is the advisory fee. The advisory fee can be whatever you want. As you can see, we're using a sample account and so they have some different fixed basis points. So if we wanted to add a certain fixed amounts, we can just type in 100 and then select 100 fixed basis points or 1%. So we'll add that fee in there and use 1%. Once we have all this filled out, we're going to do the last step, which is the set allocations. This is what we're going to go and pull in that overlay model that we created. Again, you could go in, select all the different models, try to remember how you allocated it. Or what we can do is we can go load models, overlay models and then we would find our sample. OPS model right here and press OK as you can see it pulls in taves hedged equity, the main management active sector rotation model and then the ocean park balance again with the same allocation. Nothing you need to remember it gives you a little bit of information here. As you can see the risk scores of 55 or the clients risk scores of 55 and the portfolios was 55. So all we have to do is hit save. And now we have concluded the proposal tool and we will go on to the last final step. This is what I like to call our templates page. What we're going to do on this next step is we're going to create the proposal, the outputs. Now the nice part is we can come in here and select any of the pre arranged outputs and then we can come in here and we can delete things. We can move things around. So maybe we want the strategy fact sheets at the end and then we can also add in any of these on the left hand side. So once we're done, we just hit download. So that is how quick and easy it is to create a proposal. First is going to be the first and last name, investor goals and personal finance. We're going to do the risk questionnaire. Remember you can e-mail that to a client. And then we do the proposed accounts. Now in the proposed account, let's say this client had five registrations. So you can Add all of those in each client or each registration would then have their own page within the proposal. So now let's say that you've shared that proposal with your client and you're ready to move forward. It's easy as coming into the same proposal, scrolling all the way down here to the bottom and go save an open account. We can then utilize DocuSign and depending on your broker dealer, their paperwork may be included as well. So now let's say we've opened that accounts, some time has passed and your client calls and says Mr. Advisor, I need to do a distribution as quickly as possible. Now, back in the day, we would have paperwork. You come in, you fill it out, you send it to the client, the client would sign it, you receive it back, you send it to us for processing. Now it's as easy as just clicking on quick actions and going to create a service request. What this is going to do is it's going to actually keep track of all the different service requests you as the advisor has done. But we're going to go up here to the new servicing request. We're going to do a distribution. Is maybe your client needs money to buy a house. So what you would do is search your client's name and then click on it Traditional IRA and you're going to pick the topic. We're going to do a partial redemption and then it's going to allow us to either upload documents. So if the client is in front of you, you have the paperwork, it's signed but now it's as easy as E sign. We can set up and do a DocuSign for this accounts. The other option that's not showing on here is if your client has a Move money authorization form or any form like that at a different custodian, we can just hit next and we can process it right away without the DocuSign needed because that Move Money authorization form is going to allow you to move the money on behalf of your clients. So that is the Orion Portfolio solutions platform. If you would like to schedule some time with someone on our sales desk, please click the link below. And have a wonderful day.
