Hello everyone and welcome to yet another Orion and Redtail webinar. We're so excited to have all of you here. One of the most well attended webinars that we've ever had at Orion and and retail which is pretty exciting. My name is Adam Palmer, VP of Product management here. At Orion and with me today I have Haley mandrup, the the ever talented product owner at retail over the CRM product and we are excited to speak to you about some newly launched features with our integration post merger as well as some of the the road map items that we have. So going to talk a little bit about our partnership, you know how how Orion builds product to support the fiduciary framework. As well as how Redtail supports the advisor network in your guys's businesses as well as what we are demo, a live demo if you will of of what we just released the road map. And then and then we're looking forward to answering the questions that you all have for us about these topics, whether it's what we just released, whether it's what's on the horizon or or just in general how our businesses operate and how we're bringing the best of of the worlds together. So with that I want to talk a little bit about Orion's. Mission. So Orion's mission you know we have a framework prospect plan, invest achieve and really that is a framework that helps drive or or power the advisor client journey all the way from that initial introduction to the ongoing reporting and and touching base and supporting the client needs on a day-to-day basis. So just to show that how that that the flow of that prospect plan invested achieve framework works. You know we start with prospect whether you're using our marketing tools to drive organic growth for for client acquisition using Orion, planning to support a cash flow based or a goal based plan to support your clients needs and and enrich their financial well-being as well as our investment offerings and our investment suite with Eclipse being tax efficient, trading communities being a model marketplace or Astro and our direct indexing. Offering, whether that's outsourced or or leveraged as a as a technology offering on your part, being able to transition a client in a taxi efficient manner or leverage EG G screening inside of your portfolio construction and performance reporting. And then finally with achieve being our, our mobile application, our client portal, our ongoing performance reporting as well as document management where we got a really exciting document management opportunity on our road map with Redtail that we're going to get into here in a bit. But really you know, I know I just went over Orion's mission, what we're all about, what we've been about prior to the merger with with Redtail. But Haley, I would, I would love to kick it over to you to talk a little bit about Red Tail. Thanks, Adam. A little bit about Redtail. Red Tails provides 4 products. So we have our CRM, imaging, e-mail and speak with CRM being our flag shipped. Our main product that most of our users are on the CRM is the your contact management system, that's your bread and butter. Your day-to-day imaging is our paperless solution. So that's a totally compliant document storage solution with indexing and a file folder structure where you can sort and maintain. Digital copies of your documents. E-mail is our complaint e-mail hosting and archiving solution. We didn't reinvent e-mail, but we do have e-mail services and the retail speak which is something that we came up with and that's our compliant text messaging and internal chat solution keeps your office integrated and in communication more than than ever before. So our mission statement is to be the essential partner into the finding in the financial services industry. We want to help your office serve your clients better at the end of the day. And that involves innovating different solutions, services and providing education on those services in the industry. With that, let's go ahead and take us off and and look into our newly released integration between the Orion dashboard and portfolio view in retail. So when you first log into the CRM and start your day, most of the time you're starting on the Today page with this new integration with Orion portfolio view. If you set up the immigration, Orion will be a tab at the very top of your today page and you can actually set this to be your default login page as well. So right when logging into Redtail, you're met with your Orion portfolio view dashboard. And the benefit of doing this is that we always like to say at Redtail that we're the first thing you log into and. And the last thing, you log out of where you want to start your day and end your day and now you can do not only that, but be within Orion as well. So in order to set Orion to be your default login page, just head on over to your name and preferences and your very first preference there will be to change your default login page. An extra benefit of doing that will make this logo in the top left hand corner a shortcut straight to the Orion. Portfolio view tab on this today page as well. So in one simple click, wherever you end up in Redtail, you can go right back to Orion and just toggle between the two as easy as can be. And then another place that we've put the portfolio via within red tails within a contact record, because not only is it important to see everything on your Orion dashboard overall for the whole office or for all of your contacts, but sometimes you really want to dive down into a single contact and see their specific portfolio view on their accounts page. So let's search for a contact in Redtail. I guess this is some sports guy or something. So we're going to end up over at Patrick Mahomes and in order to see his portfolio view, we're going to jump on over to account and by default we're directed to his Orion portfolio view instead of the typical retail accounts page. Now we have received some feedback from users already on this new feature that some would like the account page to be the default and we will be adding a preference in the next couple weeks that you can set the accounts. Age to be the default, but for now we do recommend the Orion portfolio of you be your default. Do you have access to all of these awesome orange features within the Red Tail CRM on Patrick's account page? So with that, Adam, I'm going to hand it over to you because I'm looking at all these awesome functions and I don't know where to go from here. Awesome. Thanks. Thanks Haley. And and I definitely love the the shout out to Patrick Mahomes being a sports guy. But you know before before we dive in there's there's something Haley that I thought you said that was amazing and it really speaks to to the integration that we're building right is we want Red tail to be the first thing you log into as well as the last thing you log out of. Right. That's I I truly believe that to support the advisors and support and advisor network and putting a A one stop shop or or or like what we like to call it most in one solution in the hands of of an advisor network. This is exactly why we're building what we're building. Right. So being able to log into Redtail, do everything you need to do from a contact or a client management in your CRM. But then also having all of the performance reporting that is predicated on their custodial accounts, the transactional data and all of that at their fingertips. But where we take it I in my opinion a step further inside of portfolio view is yes we have all of the the like what Haley showed when when sliding down here all of the the core Orion. Data, right, the the, the AU or the assets under management for the client, the the performance, the market value change, the allocation. What we also have is the Orion planning integration and that's where you can leverage the financial or display the financial plan or the health of the financial plan as well as any of the goals in in how their current status whether it's funded, not funded inside of portfolio view. And then the the other item that I I personally use leveraging the Orion planning technology for for my own portfolio is the action steps. So things that I need to do in order to achieve my goals that that my financial advisor is setting me up for success or sorry, not me, my wife and I. But from planning we also have a full on integration with Orion Risk Intelligence formerly known as Hidden Levers. And as you can see as I'm as I'm as I'm navigating as I'm speaking that this is where we're bringing that prospect plan invest, achieve fiduciary framework to life with this integration because you have the prospect and capabilities inside of retail, you have the planning capabilities inside of Orion planning, the investment selection as well as on the ongoing performance reporting so with. The risk intelligence where you have at your fingertips is all of the scenario based as well as the performance measurements and analytics associated to the portfolio whether that's you want to slice and dice the portfolio by equity sector analysis style box which is obviously everybody is a fan of a geographic analysis of the portfolio as well as if you have any debt instruments in the portfolio being able to highlight credit ratings on geographic analysis by. By where the index instrument is issued, as well as a sector analysis on the debt instruments as well. Along with the just kind of ongoing potential upside, potential downside in the performance analytics for for risk intelligence, we also have the stress testing capabilities and that's where you can take either say for instance individual levers and say for instance we have a hot topic right now the the increase or decrease in price of oil, right increase that and see what that would do to the portfolios performance returns as well as. Having any preset scenarios that our portfolio management team is constantly hard at work at and seeing how those, excuse me those scenarios. Would play out as it relates to the portfolio, all right, so road map time, so here we have what we're finishing out 2022 as well as what we're starting in 2023 from a road map perspective for our our merger, our Orion and Redtail powerful integration. We're going to dive into some specifics, but at a high level we have some great functionality coming with our new account proposal workflows as well as real time data sharing. That's something near and dear to my heart. And how that's truly going to power our real time integration experience for you guys when you're leveraging Orion and Redtail together, document storage, Redtail has documents everywhere. Ryan has documents everywhere. We're just bringing some, some commonality and some continuity to where documents are stored and how they're leveraged throughout the different systems. And then Redtail speak and Orion deliver, which is also a really exciting communication integration that we'll dive into specifically. But first let's talk about. The proposal and the new account workflows. So Haley, I know there's a ton of workflows, obviously custodians, paperwork, you know, IPS, IPS generation that has to be required. But can you for the audience, can you talk a little bit about the benefits of taking a new account proposal solution out of Orion and putting it directly into Redtail? This is so important and so exciting for so many reasons, but the biggest reason is that it's what people have been asking for for years. We want our CRM, that contact management where where all of the information about each of your contacts and clients is to be deeper integrated with these other systems. So now without even leaving Redtail, you're able to jump straight into a new proposal or an account opening or and and and just not even leaving the system, you know a lot of the times. Integrations. When you click on something, it opens another tab or you have to go somewhere else and sometimes you can feel like you have 100 tabs open at the end of the day. Now it's all within one window and that's what people have been asking for. I don't want to leave. I don't want to go outside of my CRM within this person that I'm still working on. Let me do this function and that's what we're accomplishing here, solving. The real world problems in in seamless workflows that's that's I think the heart of our integration. So like I said on on our on our preview of our road map one of the items that's near and dear to my heart is is the real time data sharing. So I know many of you at least on the the Orion advisor side are are quite familiar with what we are doing from a data strategy standpoint you taking the Orion database tables and making them available to consumers in. With views and read only capacity but in real time, right, being able to pull all the transactions, being able to pull the asset values in real time. We are taking obviously that our, our, we're, we're I guess we're eating our own cooking if you will from the perspective of of sharing that with consumers. But internally we have a data strategy that allows us to improve integrations and build internal integrations that support real time data sharing. Haley. How about you talk a little bit about some of the data that we're going to be sharing back and forth, as well as how that ultimately powers our integration to be the best in class? Yeah, absolutely. So one of the benefits of Redtail being required by Orion is that we are now the same company and we don't have any roadblocks to sharing data. We don't have any compliance issues getting in the way to sharing data between the two systems. So when you enter an address or a name or contact name or they change their phone number or account information updates in one system, we're now going to be able to share that information back and forth. And how many times has an office come across an issue where. You've updated a piece of information in one system, but now we have to go update it in six other places or so. With this deep integration and as literally being the same company with this real time data flow back and forth, we can finally do what clients have been asking for and we can say update it in one place and it's updated everywhere and that's what we'll be working towards with this this share of data. I think it's going to be really exciting and with. This, the first stage of the data flow is going to focus on account information, which has been a huge ask my whole time at Redtail for retail clients. You want to see all of the account information within retail so you can run deep searches and and higher level reporting within your contacts to see who's all invested in the same, in the same whatever. And so now you'll be able to accomplish that because the data is going to flow from a running into red. Yeah, that's one of the reason why I'm so excited about it. Real time data sharing is, is that the, the word integration always has some sort of subjective notion you know associated with it. I I I think we are taking integration and and making it its truest form and and and that's really what powers the advisor client journey. You know let's jump over to document storage here. And document storage is a is an interesting topic right every everyone needs it. It's extremely important for the advisor client relationship you know especially if if your advisory firm has a A a relationship with a with a CPA or a lawyer or attorney's office but it's but it's something that always kind of I guess maybe gets put to the put to the side from an integration perspective but Haley why don't you talk a little bit about. What we are doing from a document management perspective, leveraging the the amazing tool that you guys have built, Redtail imaging. Yeah. So recently we've been working on rebuilding Redtail imaging and that's still underway. But one of the exciting things about the new Red tail imaging is that it can hold more documents than ever before. And what we realized when we met with Orion and and started to talk about merging companies and all of that was that we have several different locations where documents are stored and it just doesn't make sense to have documents in multiple different locations. So what's going to happen? All of those document locations are going to be the same on the back end and then you can still access documents on the the front end wherever they were before. So you're still going to have a client portal where you can share documents with their clients. Redtail imaging is still going to be that client, that compliant document storage solution. But on the back end, all of those documents will be in one location. Yeah so I think we're I think we're singing from the heavens to the the compliance officers in in the in the webinar from an SEC books and records perspective. But yeah so you know with with document storage you know one I think this is this is one of the items that just at a high level in and anecdotally that that is a micro service that we're building in the audience you're going to hear us talk about micro service or centralized. Data services more and more as as we evolve at Orion and in Redtail, but it's it's something that we're taking into our data strategy whether it's document management or or like we have with the real time data sharing creating micro services that all of our different product lines can tap into. So they're all talking the same language with Speaking of talking or speaking. Let's let's jump into Redtail speak which is a really exciting opportunity from a. From a communications perspective, right, we know that in order to have a healthy advisor client relationship, communication is paramount. So Haley, talk a little bit about the red tail speak offering and then I think I can jump in and talk a little bit about the Orion deliver offering that we are bringing together. Yeah. So one thing I think we can all recognize as being true is that advisors are texting their clients currently whether it's compliant or not, we know that it's happening. I'm sorry to the compliance officers on the call, we've been aware that that's been happening for a while. So Redtail went ahead and developed a compliant text messaging solution. So this is where you can text through an office phone number and communicate with clients. Everyone can see that conversation. So anything the the advisor or the admin. Is saying back and forth with that client is all logged and archived. Just off emails are archived. Why? Why reinvent the wheel right? We already know that e-mail can be archived compliantly so the text messages are archived that same way the messages are searchable. You can send anything you can send in a normal text message so you can send a document over. We see this used a lot for account forms where. Someone's on the go and they'll receive a document, they'll fill it out on their phone and they'll send it back via text message. It's really replacing e-mail. We also see it for birthdays, our dealers, all of the things that you would typically send via e-mail. But you know, studies are showing more and more of that e-mail is not something we're paying as much attention to, whereas the text messages is going to get your clients attention right away and they're more likely to answer that as well. Yeah, that's actually a really good point, Haley. I think you know the marketing team years ago when we were building a Ryan deliver, we we did some data mining and found that from a text message standpoint, clients are 70% more likely to read and respond that day to a notification or to a communication rather than phone call and e-mail. You know what I really like about retail speaking and being complimentary of what you guys have built is it's back and forth. Right. It's engaging. There's it's actual conversation whereas Orion deliver what we built historically was just a one time notification, right. Hey, you can send a performance return, you can send a report through an HTML or browser link. You know like what you mentioned birthdays, RMD's, you know with Ryan deliver we also have the data that will inject into Redtail speak from a text messaging standpoint about model changes, trade trades that have taken place. Contributions or distributions that have occurred in the portfolio. So marrying the the best of the performance reporting data out of Orion with the engaging actual conversation communication via text message with the client we think is going to be extremely powerful. So Haley thanks for thanks for going through the the the road map with me. So with that Haley I see we have a ton of questions rolling in from the audience why don't we jump into. When does the portfolio view Orion Connect integration go live in retail? How do I set this up? So the portfolio view, Orange Direct Connect integration is actually live now. So the way to set it up is if you don't have the Orion integration set up now that's going to be the first thing you're going to want to do. Go to that integrations icon in the top right hand corner of your CRM. If you see Orion, the integration should be on. If you don't see it, you're going to go to your name in the top right hand corner of the CRM and go to manage your integration. Locate Orion in our integration suite there and then follow the prompts to set up the integration and you'll be prompted for your Orion credentials. Once those are linked, then you're going to go to a contact record and go to that integrations icon. And on that Orion tile on our integrations page is a settings option which can give you a help document that walks you through all of the integration set up with screenshots as well, including that new portfolio. Real option. Looks like we've got some other questions. How does the Amazon Redshift integration work with Orion and retail? Yeah, I'll I'll take a stab at that one Haley. So, so the the redshift integration with or between Orion and Redtail is, is, is is critical to the success of of a real time integration, right. So with leveraging Amazon Redshift who's been a great partner in helping us build out technology and and leveraging their technology stack allows us to take our our back end database tables and share that with the Redtail team in real time. So today for instance how our integration works is every morning there is a flat file. That we deliver to Redtail and that flat file to be frank never changes, right. And sometimes what happens if if reconciliation is delayed or there's still data, red Tail can actually be two to three days behind from a value perspective, from a performance perspective, all of that. So what the red shift integration allows Orion and Redtail to take advantage of is truly having a real time integration where if if Haley is an operations employee. At ABC advisory and goes in and makes a a model change or makes a address change on an account or portfolio. We will send that data directly to Redtail or back from Redtail to Orion in real time. That's that's that's ultimately what we're getting at with this integration. So extremely excited about the the possibilities of leveraging the cloud based technology of redshift. Definitely very exciting. I just want to encourage everyone to continue writing your questions in the Q&A section. Another question that came in is if I'm a client of Redtail, what's going to change for me while I have new pricing? So no, there's going to be no disruptions for Redtail or Orion users. We definitely don't want to adversely impact your day-to-day, but we want to improve your day-to-day. So we're going to continue just rolling out awesome integrations and links between the systems. Here's a technical question. Do Orion and Redtail plan to stay open architecture? Yes, I mean I think you know Haley I don't want to speak for Red Tail but I will you know I think that's to our core right Orion, Orion has been open architecture ever since you know the inception of our API back in 2014. I know Redtail has always been open architecture. You know it's actually funny that's that's how I think our our companies have have such a good synergy and and how you know from a friendship perspective we've Orion and retail. Been friends for years because of that open architecture going all the way back to our fuse hackathon events where you know you have Eric Clark and Brian McLaughlin leading the charge from an integration perspective even before the merger or the acquisition. So to to to keep it short and sweet, yes we are we are going to remain open architecture. We look forward to to for you guys to use our systems as a platform and and use as as a back end if you want to leverage our API's and integrate with the tools that you need to be successful. Yeah. And in terms of speaking for Redtail, Redtail, just a different way of pronouncing Orion now, so everyone can just think of it that way. It looks like that's all the time we have.
