Streamlining Government Service Delivery to Enhance Customer Experiences

Government agencies have been facing challenges to address critical needs of individuals and communities to access public benefits programs, for instance, the American Rescue Plan (ARP) in the U.S., COVID-19 Economic Response Plan in Canada and other funding opportunities around the world. The overall journey for citizens and organizations to deal with government programs and services could be tedious and discouraging because of repetitive information collection requests (ICRs), over-complex application form, different administration of the programs and so forth. According to the new announcement by the Office of Management and Budget (OME) in April 2022, it provides a guideline for government organizations to identify and reduce administrative burdens, ultimately enhancing customer experience and rebuild trust in government.
