We invite you to join the Marcum Women's Initiative for an interactive virtual cooking class hosted by The Fig Cooking School.

This class will feature the tastes and flavors of Italy!

Join us for a fun and unique virtual cooking class experience that blends hands-on interactive teaching with fun, camaraderie, and connection with guests.

The Marcum Women’s Initiative is committed to fostering an inclusive environment where women can thrive, expand their professional networks and develop mentoring relationships, and to providing a forum to share experiences and support one another in personal and professional pursuits.

HOW IT WORKS

Prefer to watch? No problem! There is no pressure to participate during the class time. You will still get the recipes and are free to ask any questions you like during the class time.

ABOUT THE FIG COOKING SCHOOL

Since 2009, Fig has used hands-on cooking classes to bring people together over amazing food. Rooted in family tradition (the name "Fig" comes from Heide's daughters – Francesca, Isabella, and Gabrielle!), we've developed our classes to bring together guests of all backgrounds. After an evening of storytelling, laughter, and camaraderie that only breaking bread can bring, it's common to see guests exchanging phone numbers at the end of class. Our seasonal recipes feature flavors from around the world, and from our own backyard, and are both approachable and illuminating for cooks of all skill levels. We regularly appear on TV and in demonstrations around the region, but we are in our element making memories with new friends in the Fig kitchen.
