Building collection and control systems in remote areas where no traditional connectivity plan and infrastructure exists is very limited. The Internet of Things, and in particular LoRaWAN technology, is able to capture data using a satellite network for data collection for a variety of challenging activities such as marine engineering, earthquakes and other environmental challenges.

Truly global IoT connectivity, something that only satellite can offer, will change environmental monitoring, agriculture, public infrastructure management and anything related to wide area remote sensing. In this panel, IoT satellite experts will explain how LoRaWAN for satellite is a game changer for the satellite industry. We take a look at how in the coming years IoT will lead to the equivalent of a new industrial revolution and with that a new satellite communications revolution to connect everything on the planet. The panel evolves around different themes such as agriculture, metering & utilities, supply chain and the fishing industry and we'll explore why satellite connections are either a complementary or better fit to obtain a maximum of data value.
