We hope you can join our Spring 2020 webcast for Banking & Capital Markets tax professionals on Thursday, 19 March 2020.
The financial services sector continues to face a variety of complex tax challenges and a great deal of uncertainty in the UK and around Europe. This webcast will provide senior tax executives with insights into the March 2020 UK Budget and some of the significant questions emerging across Europe in IBOR transition programmes.
UK Budget Day
The first post-Brexit UK Budget will take place on Wednesday, 11 March 2020. During this webcast we will discuss the impacts of any policy changes for financial services institutions.
The transition from Interbank Offered Rates (IBORs) is impacting hundreds of trillions of dollars’ worth of financial instruments across the globe. Many businesses require substantial change in business functions and systems. Tax and transfer pricing are not immune to the changes and although there is hope that HMRC will take a reasonably pragmatic approach to transition, we anticipate that the technical impacts of IBOR transition will vary across European markets.
During the session, you will have the opportunity to hear from EY Partners who will join us from a selection of European markets to provide their latest insights into managing IBOR transition.
You can submit any questions to the panel in advance of the webcast by emailing Roshni Shah. You will also be able to ask questions during the webcast.
