Dr. Eric Ossmann is the founder and senior medical advisor for VIGILINT. Dr. Ossmann is currently the Vice Chair of Operations and Clinical Affairs in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Prisma Health. Previously, he served as the Director of Prehospital and Disaster Medicine, Vice-Chief of the Division of Emergency Medicine, and the Associate Chief Medical Officer for Preparedness and Response at Duke University Health System. In association with this role, he also served as the Medical Director for Durham County Emergency Medical Services, providing medical oversight for all aspects of the prehospital medical care system, and was the institutional project leader for a multidisciplinary team developing institutional and operational strategies to manage patient surge in the setting of mass casualty events.
