Give users across the enterprise direct access to their information!
In the modern IT ecosystem, the API has become a key, mission critical aspect of the infrastructure. The proper APIs in an application can make governed information available to a wider variety of non-technical users and decision makers. It can also greatly reduce the turn-around time from the request for data to the delivery.
In the past QMF has offered a Java API with hundreds of methods to master, and it was available only in the local desktop client rather than at a centralized server.
QMF 12 has now introduced a REST API and a JDBC entry point for other applications to access and run QMF queries. This innovation will allow an organization to quickly develop and deliver a web based interface to give users across the technical spectrum direct access to their information as soon as the person developing the query hits the Save button.
This presentation will go over these APIs, their use cases, and demonstrate a sample application that will be available to any participants.
