New year, new risks?
The year 2020 began with the US economy on apparent solid footing: trend-like growth with high employment, low inflation and interest rates, stock prices near record highs and consumer confidence elevated, a ”phase-one” trade deal complete, the USMCA signed, and a no-deal Brexit at least postponed. Nevertheless, there are also new worries looming on the horizon: Boeing’s problems have deepened, and a virus outbreak in China threatens to disrupt global supply chains, spooking both investors and consumers. How will it all balance out?
Join us as we discuss the outlook and these issues on 19 February at 10:00 am US East Coast time.
