In this webinar, IDC and AVEVA will look at the critical importance of asset performance management (APM) for enabling optimized asset operations. IDC’s research shows that less than 25% of companies across manufacturing, power, and oil and gas in Asia/Pacific have successfully deployed strategic asset management, and many are struggling to deliver the promised value.
Successful implementation of APM strategic frameworks, and software within that, are a critical driver for competitive differentiation because it can deliver safe, reliable and cost-efficient optimization of asset performance for industrial operations. Using APM as a strategic framework that brings together instrumentation, data capture, visualization and analytics, combined with approaches to rank system, equipment criticality and risk levels can enable strategic and consistent management of maintenance and reliability.
IDC will look at the challenges companies are facing in APM implementations, as well as the required roadmap, focus areas and associated reliability-based maintenance approaches. AVEVA will share how it can support a more strategic approach towards APM implementation.
