Many of the projects that are being delivered today are not specific rail projects but require work in and around rail corridors. Design and Construction in a brownfields rail environment will explore the issues associated with working in, adjacent to and over a railways. There are many instances where projects are constrained by operating railways where the time and access requirements severely restrict construction flexibility. There are also special requirements that designers are required to follow including accreditation of staff to undertake some design tasks.
Join Peter as he discusses the requirements under the National Rails Safety Act, the National Regulator (ONRSR), and basic rail access requirements. This webinar will provide information that will enable all those involved in the construction industry to better understand how they can work with in the rail environment
