Tobacco control programs have implemented several strategic activities aimed at driving adoption of health system changes that promote and support treatment of tobacco use and dependence. The MH TCCP can be utilized by tobacco control programs to gain a better understanding of various evidence and practice-based health systems changes. The ALA will also describe opportunities for ongoing technical assistance to program staff as they develop and engage with health systems throughout their states and jurisdictions.
