Satellite avionics, including integrated avionics units and associated flight control subsystems, are critical to the success of the satellite mission. These systems need to support a variety of signal types including power, command and communication, payload interface, and sensor IO. 


While continuing to support the demands of historical satellite applications, avionics packages are increasingly getting smaller in size as the small satellite revolution increases the overall demand for satellite systems. The challenges of meeting these conflicting requirements is increasingly leading to a new approach to the way that avionics are designed as tested.


This webinar will introduce the NI approach to testing satellite avionics which includes platform-based hardware that enables scale and reuse across products, as well as open, interoperable application software to accelerate design cycles and gain leverage on previous investment.
