Enhanced Filter Design Using a New Modal EMI Receiver
EMSCOPE is a new revolutionary EMI testing approach. It allows one to perform not only CISPR 16 compliant EMI conducted emissions, but also modal measurements (common mode and differential mode), providing development/test engineers with the noise type and origin, allowing them to improve the overall EMC behavior of the EUT and, specifically, to design optimized filters (cheaper, smaller and more performant). This compact solution includes a Dual FFT-based Modal EMI receiver, a dual-port LISN, a transient limiter and embedded software in the same box.
