Supporting and growing a diverse early childhood workforce helps early childhood education professionals better serve the children and families in their communities. At the state level, a training and technical assistance (TTA) team well-versed in the issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion can better support early childhood professionals. Working together at the state and program level provides early childhood professionals and TTA providers the necessary knowledge and skills to fully implement both CCDF and Head Start regulations.
In this webinar, you will learn how the structure of a virtual community of practice (COP) helped participants discover key components needed to support Black, Latina and other ECE professionals of color. Hear about lessons learned from the Supporting a Diverse Early Childhood Education CoP and how the states involved plan to enhance their ability to support their early childhood workforce to meet their professional development goals. The National Centers of ECQA and ECDTL will co-present this webinar.
This webinar will have Spanish and English captioning.
