Live Cooking Demonstration with Dietician Andrea Docherty:

In this interactive cooking demo, Andrea will be making a Massaged Citrus Kale Salad and Mashed Curry Chickpea Wrap. You will learn many simple and delicious ways to include more plant based foods into your diet. Andrea will demonstrate how healthy eating and meal prep can be easy! Not only will you learn what eat, but also how to do so each day. Learn the steps to use proper nutrition and better eating habits to improve your health, energy and feel great. You will leave feeling inspired and ready to take action and test your new cooking skills and recipes.

Luis Mendez is a fully certified personal trainer and owner of True Fitness in Windsor, ON who specializes in both weight management programs and corrective exercise methods to alleviate joint related pain. He will speak on his own personal history with arthritis in his knees and way to keep moving and pain free. He will cover the benefits of movement and exercise with arthritis and go over his top key movements to be done on a daily basis to help with pain.
