Your Mission into Action: Developing Financial Literacy and Savings Programs for Youth
Event Date: 04/22/2015 02:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time
Credit unions nationwide are committed to the financial capability of young people. In support of this core credit union mission, the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) is hosting a webinar during National Financial Capability Month. This webinar will explore how credit unions can expand the financial capability of youth through financial literacy programs and experiential learning opportunities. These programs can contribute to the long-term financial and education prospects of youth while building loyalty and awareness to credit unions.

This no-cost webinar is open to consumers, credit unions and their members who seek to learn more about:
  • strategies for developing new youth financial literacy programs or enhancing current programs;
  • research available on youth savings and financial literacy programs;
  • methods for making outreach effective; and
  • free financial literacy resources available through NCUA, other federal agencies and non-profits for consumers, credit unions and their members.
