The embedded industry is moving to continuous practices for software development. This web seminar is a part of a series where we discuss how development teams can adopt continuous and other game-changing practices by using simulation, where before they were stymied by the inflexibility of hardware labs. The need for higher software development velocity and productivity (being able to deliver software and systems faster) is the driving force behind adopting agile and continuous practices. Cross-discipline teams are responsible for getting a feature through its entire life cycle. With Continuous Integration (CI), development teams can quickly and iteratively develop, test, and integrate now. Faster feedback means faster error resolution, which means faster time to market. By using a virtual platform and simulation approach, it is possible to use standard PCs and servers to run code destined for even deeply embedded and complex target systems, making an effective CI setup possible that is both more flexible and cheaper than relying on hardware alone. In this webinar in our series, we will address how simulation can be used to extend access to test systems and remove hardware-related bottlenecks..
