Rapid and consistent sample preparation is a key requirement in ensuring good data quality and fast sample turnaround times in trace metal analysis. Samples with widely varying matrix concentrations, such as soil leachates, cause problems in routine analysis because they push internal standard recoveries out of range and can cause sample introduction blockages and drift problems. This results in costly and time consuming re-analysis of such samples, after diluting them off-line (a labor-intensive and inefficient process). In this web seminar, we will discuss the application and benefits of an intelligent on-line autodilution system for rapid and efficient analysis of challenging samples.
