2015 Government Cyber Challenge - Solutions to Combat Insider Threats
Event Date: 03/18/2015 02:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time
Duration: 60 Minutes
In December 2014, Market Connection and SolarWinds conducted their second annual survey of government, military and intelligence community IT and IT security professionals to uncover their most critical IT security challenges, and to determine how to make potential security threats visible so IT can confront them. This year’s results exposed a need for internal cybersecurity threat prevention. Respondents identified careless and untrained insiders as their greatest source of cybersecurity threats – over malicious external sources such as hackers and terrorists – yet disparately reported that malicious external threat sources maintained priority for threat prevention investment.

Register for this webinar and you will learn:
  • The top cybersecurity threat sources, obstacles to threat prevention for careless and untrained insiders and malicious insiders and outsiders, and the necessary tools for threat prevention indicated by the survey respondents
  • How the right tools and technologies can provide IT infrastructure visibility and vulnerability management to safeguard against both internal and external threats
  • Some key considerations for developing a security program – what questions to ask, what tools to utilize, and what data to collect and monitor

Note: All webinar registrants receive a full copy of the Cybersecurity survey results.
