This webinar, intended for Pre-approved Program employers, will provide Program Managers and Pre-approved Program Leaders with an overview of the CPA Practical Experience Requirements, the professions new CPA Practical Experience Reporting Tool (PERT) and an opportunity to ask questions. Since this webinar is national in scope, questions specifically pertaining to an individual province/region will not be addressed. These questions should be directed to your regional contact.

Speaker Bio



Richard Piticco, CPA, CA, CFA

Richard Piticco is the Director of Employer Relations at CPA Ontario and is the Practical Experience Project Lead on behalf of CPA Canada, responsible for overseeing the Canada-wide implementation of the new CPA Practical Experience Requirements. Richard is the Chair of the interprovincial Practical Experience Working Group and Acting Chair of CPA Ontario’s Young CPA Advisory Committee.

During the last couple of years, Richard has also been actively involved with a number of CPA initiatives as a member of CPA Ontario’s Unification Communication Team, a participant in the CPA Public Accounting Working Group and his involvement in several other learning initiatives related to the new CPA Certification Program.

Prior to joining CPA Ontario, Richard worked at CIBC World Markets where he was a Director in Equity Research. He also has industry experience as a Treasury Manager with Pepsi Canada and become a CA with KPMG in 1999.
