Tip Enhanced Raman Imaging Is No Longer Purely A Research Technique

This presentation was recorded on November 06, 2014.

Until recently, Tip–Enhanced Raman Scattering (TERS) imaging has been the preserve of leading edge research laboratories. Now, the close long-term collaboration between AIST-NT and Horiba Scientific has yielded integrated AFM-Raman systems that bring this powerful new technique within the reach of the analytical laboratory. We will discuss the instrument characteristics that make this possible and show examples of the acquisition of hyperspectral images in the course of seconds.
