This HPOE webinar, held with the Institute for Diversity, highlights Henry Ford Health System (HFHS), which was recognized as a finalist for the AHA's inaugural Equity of Care Award for innovative and strategic methods for providing training to employees on issues of health care equity and culturally-appropriate care. Through HFHS's Healthcare Equity Campaign and subsequent health care equity initiatives, HFHS focuses on building capacity and expertise among health system leaders in order to raise awareness and provide tools to improve organizational cultural competence.
