This free Webinar from the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) highlighted results from the newly released 2014 Medical Office User Comparative Database Report. Users shared how their organizations have successfully used the AHRQ Medical Office Survey on Patient Safety Culture and improved their patient safety culture over time.

|  | Juanita Stroud, Patient Safety Director, Carolinas HealthCare System, Charlotte, NC. Ms. Stroud shared system-level experiences with administering the Medical Office Survey in over 200 medical offices, and discussed numerous initiatives that were implemented to improve patient safety culture.

Ms. Funaro discussed how after administering the Medical Office Survey in Yuma Clinic, a federally qualified rural health center, a patient-centered medical home initiative led to substantial improvements in the clinic’s patient safety culture scores. |
