Michele Weldon, PwC's National Employee Benefit Plan Practice Leader, will provide an overview of current developments related to Defined Benefit, Defined Contribution, and Health & Welfare employee benefit plans. This will include an update on recent changes in accounting, auditing and regulatory requirements impacting employee benefit plans.
Joining Michele will be members of PwC's assurance and Global Human Resources practices, who will provide insight on the increased regulatory focus from the PCAOB and Department of Labor that may affect employee benefit plans -- including topics related to investment accounting / valuation, service organization controls and other compliance issues.
Target Audience: Personnel involved in oversight and administration of employee benefit plans. This may include, but is not limited to, controllers, human resources or payroll managers and staff, pension subcommittee members, and other personnel with exposure to employee benefit plan operations.
