AGA and EEI have teamed with PwC to host a power and utilities industry webcast on the recently issued ASU 2014-09: Revenue from Contracts with Customers (Topic 606) (“revenue standard”).

In May 2014, the FASB issued the revenue standard, a joint standard on revenue with the IASB (IFRS 15: Revenue from Contracts with Customers). Power and utilities companies may need to evaluate many of their arrangements, update certain processes relating to disclosures and make judgments regarding the recognition of revenue in certain transactions. PwC specialists will provide an overview of potential industry specific impacts.
