Forward Looking Intelligence: Planning for the Baby Boomer Impact

Close to 20 percent of the nation’s population will be over the age of 65 in 15 years. The socioeconomic impact crated by the nations aging population will be tremendous. All levels of government will be challenged to ensure effective and efficient service delivery with limited financial resources. It has long been held that the loss of the “baby Boomers” from the workforce would result in a reduction of millions in tax revenue for government programs that are already cash strapped, particularly, in the area of health and human services.

To meet the future challenge of effective an efficient service delivery, with considerably less funding, elected officials and executive leadership must employ forward thinking strategies utilizing all of the advantages of modern business intelligence solutions.
