Anytime, Anywhere, Any Device: Mobility for First Responders and Law Enforcement

Originally Aired: Wednesday, May 21, 2014
Time: 11:00 AM PT | 2:00 PM ET

Governments are transforming to better protect and serve the public in today’s highly mobile, multi-device world. Departments and agencies are increasingly dynamic, requiring secure “anytime, anywhere, any device” access to critical applications and information for improved public safety presence and response time. The diversity of environments, devices, and workers – in an age of increasing cybersecurity threats -- presents many new challenges that are modernizing the way government manages technology services.

The Center for Digital Government surveyed 101 of these state and local government IT professionals to determine their perspective on law enforcement and first responder mobility. 27% said that they have access to the latest devices that allow for mobility in the field, but what about the rest of them? Where do you fall?

Join Emergency Management for a live webinar where we will share the latest Center for Digital Government survey findings on mobility adoption trends for first responders and law enforcement. We will be answering questions such as:

  • Do law enforcement agencies have adequate mobile access?
  • Learn about the biggest unmet needs as it relates to mobility
  • What will it take to fulfill the need?
  • What are the biggest barriers to addressing mobility
  • What is the direction and value of mobility going forward?
