Jan E Berger MD, MJ is President and CEO at Health Intelligence Partners, LLC, and Editor in Chief at the American Journal of Pharmacy Benefit. Dr. Berger holds both a Doctor of Medicine degree and a Masters degree in Jurisprudence from Loyola University in Chicago. Dr. Berger serves as the Medical Director for the Midwest Business Group on Health. Her responsibility includes supporting both the coalition and its members in both the educational and clinical improvement initiatives. As former Senior Vice President and Chief Clinical Officer for CVS Caremark (1999-2008), Dr. Berger and her team led the organization through three mergers and acquisitions which resulted in a Fortune 20 healthcare organization. She has focused a majority of the last 12 years of her career to medication adherence and consumer behavior.
