During this webcast, Mary Ann Cloyd, Leader of PwC's Center for Board Governance, will discuss the increasing demands of cybersecurity with The Honorable Tom Ridge and Charles Beard. Tom Ridge was named the first Assistant to the President for Homeland Security following the events of September 11, 2001 and appointed the first Secretary of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security in 2003. He is also the former Governor of Pennsylvania, President and CEO of Ridge Global, Co-founder of the strategic advisory firm Ridge Schmidt Cyber, and serves as a Director of The Hershey Company, Chart Acquisition Corporation, Lifelock and TaaSera, Inc. Charles Beard is a Principal with PwC in the Forensic Services practice. Before joining the firm, he was Former Corporate CIO and General Manager Cyber Security, Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC).
