It is estimated that 24% of employed Americans report working at least some hours from home each week. Many employers do not yet have standardized policies for work-from-home arrangements, but even those that do have policies often fail to pay enough attention to the regulatory requirements of such arrangements.

This webinar will discuss the regulations governing telecommuting arrangements, as well as the potential risks and liabilities associated with them. Included will be a discussion of the following:

  • Regulatory requirements under ADA, FLSA, FMLA, Workers' Compensation and OSHA

  • Best practices for creating or amending existing Work-From-Home policies, including a discussion of compensation, overtime rules and requests for intermittent or caregiver leave
