Financial Literacy: Putting Your Mission Into Action

Member focused financial literacy is a core credit union mission. In support of National Financial Literacy Month, the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) is hosting a webinar on how credit unions can put that financial literacy mission into action. This webinar is open to credit unions and their members who seek to learn more about:
  • The definition of financial literacy, including the link between financial literacy and the credit union mission;
  • The U.S. Department of the Treasury’s recent financial literacy pilot research program;
  • Tips on how to build a successful financial literacy program in your credit union based on credit union asset size and specialized member demographics; and
  • How to improve financial literacy efforts through the creation of key local and national financial literacy partnerships.
