Seven Best Anti-Corruption Practices for Defence Companies – How Do You Compare? |
Program
Transparency International (TI) has surveyed the defence and security industry, and identified seven key anti-corruption practices which distinguish the most effective companies – see Raising The Bar at TI Defence & Security. It is challenging to measure up to these standards but critically important for companies to address them. TI’s work is ongoing, and a further survey will be conducted later this year.
Members of Latham & Watkins’ international white collar crime team discuss with Mark Pyman, Programme Director of the International Defence & Security Programme of TI:
- the results of TI’s survey of the Defence and Security industry
- common internal and external roadblocks to achieving effective anti-corruption compliance
- participants’ live feedback on polls of key questions
- common practices of Government Procurement functions
- US and UK enforcement trends
- how to improve your company’s TI rankings in forthcoming surveys
