Migrating to Mobile Learning: How a $30M Organization Adopted HTML5 |
Wednesday, November 13
2:00 p.m. EST / 11:00 a.m. PST
Approximately 1 hour
Diane Simmons, the Vice President of Education for HFMA, shares her learning organization’s planned approach to achieving mobile flexibility and the decision process that led them there. HFMA, who produces volumes of training for their 40,000 members and the organizations they represent, went from recreating the same content for multiple channels -- to a single content base that has positioned their key revenue-producing products for flexible, multi-platform device distribution.
Diane explains the initial analysis, what it revealed, and how the results were applied to transitioning selected content into multiple formats. Mike Stacy, Executive Vice President of Aptara, joins Diane to discuss the importance of a mobile content strategy and key technical and operational issues that set-up an organization for success. Participants will leave with valuable takeaways, including the need to evaluate every course for a go/no-go mobile decision, and discover practical starting points for migrating to a dynamic and mobile content base.
