Improving Operational Visibility With Compressor Electronics Data

Businesses are constantly seeking access to data that can help them improve operational efficiencies and support maintenance activities. Recent innovations in compressor electronics are providing end users with operational data that enables enhanced visibility to HVAC and refrigeration systems.
Our first discussion in the “Operational Visibility” series will address the fundamentals of compressor electronics data and Emerson’s CoreSense™ technology. In this informative session, you’ll learn how simple data analytics can reveal opportunities to enhance the performance of your HVAC and refrigeration systems.
In this free webinar, you’ll learn:
  • What type of data can you pull from our CoreSense technology?
  • How can data influence system design and improve performance?
  • How can monitored data at an enterprise level help plan for future investments?
Presenter: Kurt Knapke, Director, Product Planning and Electronics, Emerson Climate Technologies
Kurt Knapke, director, product planning and electronics, Emerson Climate Technologies, is responsible for leading the sales, marketing, product management and engineering efforts of Emerson’s commercial refrigeration electronics team. In addition, he helps to drive the refrigeration industry’s adoption of compressor electronics. He has worked at Emerson since 1997 and has held positions of increasing responsibility, first as coop student and later as a senior product engineer; he also worked as a marketing manager and in food retail and food service end user sales. He is extremely knowledgeable of system design, including system architectures and controls and compression technologies, and how each impact the customer’s total cost of ownership of refrigeration systems.
He is a member of the Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME).
