Teen Book Buzz: New Series, Debut Authors, and a Timeless Classic

Summer vacations and summer reading programs are just distant memories now. School is back in session, and now it’s time to restock the library shelves!

Join us for our fall Teen Book Buzz webcast to be sure you have the latest releases ready for your teen readers, and get forthcoming Spring 2014 titles on order. Moderated by SLJTeen's Dodie Ownes, this one-hour webcast will feature title presentations from Flux, Lerner Publishing Group, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, and Sourcebooks.

HIGHLIGHTS
  • Lerner will be featuring four new hi/lo series aimed at reluctant readers; six new nonfiction books; a graphic novel; a tween series; and five smoldering YAs from Carolrhoda Lab.
     
  • Flux will be presenting Fall titles including a few exciting debuts and the long-awaited final books in two Flux series; plus they will be giving a sneak preview of a few exciting Winter titles as well.
     
  • Sourcebooks Fire will give attendees the chance to discover a fiery dragon trilogy, heart-pounding thrillers that will leave you speechless;fantastic new titles from fan-favorites Jessica Shirvington and Miranda Kenneally; and the return of a timeless, beloved classic.
     
  • Houghton Mifflin Harcourt will be presenting the latest from YA authors Carl Deuker; Susan Beth Pfeffer and Alethea Kontis; as well as stunning debuts by Amy Rose Capetta and Sarah Zettel.
