The Neutral Connection

The impact of a mains interruption, and consequent opening of the four-pole incoming supply connections, are effects that many installers and designers have inevitably had to consider at one time or another. Questions likely to that have arisen in such occasions include:
  • Can the UPS support the system load in the absence of a neutral to earth connection from the incoming supply?
  • What are the issues?
  • Does a standard UPS system provide an adequate solution?

Join the Emerson Network Power Critical Advantage Webcast for all of the answers. Thursday 25th July 2013 from 11am.

The webcast will provide insight into:

  • What the loss of the neutral actually means
  • The importance and effect of the loss of the neutral earth connection to an IT load
  • How the UPS protects the critical system load when the supply neutral to earth connection is lost
