Simply Intelligent: Chromatography Data System Software Goes Mass Spec
Event Date: Thursday July 25, 2013 at 8:00 am PDT; 11:00 am EDT; 16:00 BST; 17:00 CEDT

An increasing number of laboratories want to incorporate mass spectrometry (MS) into their routine quantitative analyses, whether it is to get higher sensitivity, to run a quick qualitative library search to identify unknowns, or simply to have richer quality data. Until now, there was a significant software barrier: Chromatography lab technicians had to learn a separate MS software package. The new 7.2 release of Thermo Scientific Dionex Chromeleon Chromatography Data System (CDS) software is the first CDS that combines separation (GC/IC/LC) and Mass Spectrometry (MS) in an enterprise (client/server) environment.
By extending Chromeleon CDS beyond chromatography into MS, lab technicians can now streamline their chromatography and MS quantitation workflows with a single software platform. In this web seminar, we will explain how these workflows can reduce your cost of operation and time from samples to results.

We will demonstrate how Chromeleon CDS handles two typical MS routine applications: the analysis of residual solvents according to US Pharmacopeia (USP) Method 467, and the analysis of wastewater for volatile organics following U.S. EPA Method 8260C guidelines. These applications will outline how MS control has been integrated into Chromeleon CDS’s client/server architecture and how it supports MS-driven workflows to benefit pharmaceutical, chemical, and environmental laboratories.

This web seminar will showcase the integration of MS instrument control, and MS data processing and reporting, ultimately transforming Chromeleon CDS into a Chromatography and MS data system.
