TETRA: Exploring use cases, myths and misconceptions

Last September, the use of Terrestrial Trunked Radio (TETRA) technology in the U.S. was approved on a permanent basis. This webinar will explain this order and examine the instances under which TETRA makes the most sense in the U.S. and Canada, specifically for utilities, transportation entities and public safety (in Canada). In addition, panelists will answer key technical questions about TETRA, explore its potential for satisfying the FCC’s narrowbanding mandate, and attempt to debunk common myths and misconceptions.

Our Panel Includes:

  • Phil Kidner, CEO TETRA + Critical Communications Association
  • Jose Martin, CEO, PowerTrunk
  • Alan Tilles, chairman—telecommunications department, Shulman, Rogers, Pordy, Gandal & Ecker
  • Klaus Bender, PE, Director of Standards & Engineering, Utilities Telecom Council (UTC)
