Among other posts, he served as the Chairman of the Collision Industry Conference (2005 - 2006), as Chairman of the NACE Exhibitor Advisory Council (2000 - 2001) and as Chairman of the I-CAR International Board of Directors (1999 - 2001). Tuuri was inducted into the Collision Industry Hall of Eagles in 2000.
