Mobile Security: Confronting Challenges

Thursday, January 17, 2013
02:00 PM EST
Duration: 1 hour

While mobile technology enables federal managers to work anytime, anywhere, it also makes the government more and more vulnerable to cyber threats. As employees increasingly use their devices to access classified information, it is imperative for network security features to move seamlessly to smartphone devices and tablets.

Mobile attacks driven by financially motivated hackers, political “hacktivism” and vandalism are rapidly increasing in number and sophistication. Data and identities are already being stolen and agency communications intercepted. Agencies must act now to provide highly secure mobile access, while remaining productive and efficient on these devices.

Join this webcast to learn:
  • How to implement a long-term, comprehensive mobile security plan
  • Ways to transition network securities to mobile
  • How to protect agencies from malicious mobile applications
