Understanding Your Energy Consumers
An IBM Big Data for Industries Webinar

The meter-to-cash challenge is solved, and consumers are demanding new benefits from Smart Metering. Forward-thinking utilities now turn to harnessing the volumes of consumer data from Smart Meter deployments and investments in analytics, making the role of the customer paramount.

Utilities in both heavily regulated and competitive markets are now striving to gain a more in-depth understanding of their customers. The era of referring to them as “service delivery points” and “rate payers” is gone and understanding customers, their behavior and preferences is the new norm.

Join Michelle Delka, Director, Smart Grid at Westar Energy, Inc, Krishan Gupta, Director of Product Management at eMeter®, A Siemens Business, and Elliott McClements, E&U Big Data Business Solutions Executive at IBM, on December 13 at 2 PM Eastern to discover how Westar is leveraging eMeter and IBM technology to understand their customers in new and profound ways, and how they plan to use Smart Metering to transform their business.
