Hosted Unified Communications and Collaboration: Fulfilling the Promise
Discover How a Hosted UC&C Solution Enables Enterprise Success

This webinar was originally broadcast on:
Tuesday, July 31, 2012 02:00 PM EDT / 11:00 AM PDT

Unified Communications & Collaboration can lower costs, streamline processes, and take corporate productivity to new heights. So why aren't more organizations embracing it more quickly?

The answer is in the barriers to adoption faced by so many organizations. A UC&C solution can mean a sizable capital investment, which may be off the table in a tough economic period. It also involves extended deployment time and presents a number of deployment challenges, which can simply create too big a barrier for organizations with limited IT resources or expertise in the right areas.

A hosted or cloud-based UC&C solution overcomes those barriers. It offers all the same features and functions as a traditional premises-based approach, but can be deployed more rapidly and easily, and eliminates the associated risks of a premise-based solution. With a pay-per-user/per-month model vs. a huge up-front investment, it moves Capex to Opex and offers more predictable operating expenses. A comprehensive solution reduces overall costs, centralizes management, offers infinite flexibility, and enhances communications continuity and disaster recovery. By putting applications in the cloud, it even makes it easier to deal with the challenges of BYOD and can help facilitate a BYOD program.

Whether you are a CIO, or IT manager, this discussion will help you determine a UC strategy and business case for deployment that aligns with your organizational needs.

What Attendees Will Learn:
  • How to leverage a hosted UC solution to support a growing mobile and virtual workforce, and collaboration applications that accelerate decision making
  • How to reduce total cost of ownership (TCO) while extending communications and collaboration to the maximum number of employees, adjusting capacity and functionality on-demand
  • How centralized management can streamline business processes and multiply the capabilities of a lean IT staff
  • How to determine organizational needs, comprehensive solution criteria and service provider best practices to ensure a risk-free migration path
  • How application performance, reliability and security are uniquely supported through an all-IP network foundation
Who Should Attend:
  • CIO/CTO/VP decision makers for IT, Enterprise Architecture, IT Services, Technology Services
  • Directors and Senior Managers of IT, IT Services, IT Operations,
