PRIME: Next Generation Proteomics
Event Date: May 23, 2012 at 09:00 AM EDT
Proteomics analyses are among the most challenging analyses that can be addressed with mass spectrometry. The proteome dynamics in time, space and concentration as well as its variability because of modifications and mutations require novel and complementary approaches to generate useful, reliable and complete information.

There is no “one size fits all“ in unraveling the Proteome. PRIME delivers a multidimensional toolbox to unlock that complexity. Based on Bruker’s ESI and MALDI mass spectrometer’s class-leading performances and versatility, combined with cutting-edge bioinformatics solutions, PRIME has the potential to deliver answers where other solutions are just providing data. From bottom-up to top-down approaches, we will give an overview of the solution’s capabilities in today’s most challenging proteomics areas, such as identification, quantification and characterization from highly complex samples in proteomics and glycoproteomics, or tissue-based biomarker identification.
