Extrusion (and more) at the NPE

Date: April 26, 2012
Time: 02:00 PM ET/1:00 PM CT
Duration: 60 minutes
FREE WEBCAST

Our Extrusion Expert series continues on April 26 with Allan Griff's report on the new and unusual in extrusion at the upcoming NPE Plastics Exhibition in Orlando, Florida, April 1-5. He'll include selected extrusion-related materials, additives and end products, too, not just machinery. He's certainly experienced in trade show reporting, having been at every NPE since way back in 1961 (and every German K show since 1963)! What's more, those who attend the webinar live will also get a list of extrusion-related papers presented at the SPE ANTEC (Annual Technical Conference) held at the same time -- authors, affiliations and one-line summaries of contents. If you can't get to the show, here's the way to find out the latest extrusion news -- and even if you did get there, no-one can see it all, and you may learn some things you might have missed. Attendance is free, and you'll be able to ask questions even after the presentation by email.

Presenter:

Allan Griff
Allan Griff (www.griffex.com) is a consulting engineer who has spent almost 50 years improving extrusion operations. He wrote the books on extrusion–really: the first practical hardcover book on extrusion in the USA (Plastics Extrusion Technology, 1962-1968) and more recently, The Plastics Extrusion Operating Manual (first edition 1983, current 21st edition, 2012).

There is hardly a topic in an extruder’s shop that he has not addressed, often. He has helped with troubleshooting of problems, training employees, new product development, and materials management. What’s more, he has a sense of humor. Attendees that invest 60 minutes in this webinar will save hours, frustration, and money in their shops.
