 Mercury Computer introduces an Open VPX blade utilizing Freescale’s T4240 28nm QorIQ Power Architecture processor that provides 24 virtual cores and 12 AltiVec engines in a single SOC device. Freescale and Mercury will provide technical details of the processor and how Mercury utilizes the raw processing power and exceptional performance per watt of the T4240 processor.
