Virtualization for Midsize Businesses: Keep Your Foot on the Accelerator |
Event Date: Thursday, May 24, 2012 at 02:00 PM EDT
|
Could you be driving a wedge between your midsize business’s productivity and innovation without even knowing it? If your midsize business is like most, you have already ‘virtualized’ a portion of your servers and plan to do more, but without transforming the way in which you manage your new virtualized environment you could face another set of problems.
Increased workload density and flexibility are key benefits of server virtualization, but there are critical steps you could be leaving out. The absence of these steps could hurt your company’s business operations. Virtualization shouldn’t be limited to just your servers. Storage, desktop, networks and your entire IT infrastructure can reap the benefits of virtualization.
The expansion of both virtual workloads and data demands better tools to solve problems before they arise. Michael Suby, Vice President of Research at Frost & Sullivan North America gives you a game plan that puts you on the right track and help your business avoid costly operational bottlenecks.
Following Michael's presentation, Ed Abrams, Vice President Marketing, IBM Midmarket will join Mike to discuss examples of how IBM is helping their clients today with virtualization solutions from IBM, and together will host a live Q&A session.
