Scott Byrnes is Vice President of Marketing for Amber Road (formerly Management Dynamics), a leading provider of global trade management software and services. He has spent the past 20 years in various sales and marketing roles at global software companies and professional services firms. Scott began his career with Andersen Consulting (Accenture), where he focused on supply chain process improvement for several large consumer packaged goods companies. He then joined Manugistics, a supply chain management software provider. During his five years at Manugistics, Scott held a variety of leadership positions in both services and sales. From Manugistics, Scott moved to Vastera, a provider of global trade management solutions. During his four years at Vastera, Scott transitioned from sales into marketing, and helped guide the company through a successful IPO.

Natalia Shehadeh
Director of Trade Compliance

Natalia G. Shehadeh is Director of Trade Compliance for Weatherford International Ltd., where she leads the trade compliance program supported by a global team focused on import, export, sanctions and boycott compliance across Weatherford’s operations in 105+ countries. She joined Weatherford from Shell Oil Company in August 2009, where she was Senior Counsel for Export Controls. Prior to relocating to Houston to join Shell in 2007, Natalia was Counsel with the Washington D.C. office of the law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP where she advised domestic and multinational clients on export controls, trade sanctions, antiboycott and antibribery compliance matters.

A graduate of Rice University (B.A. 1987) and the University of Houston Law Center (J.D. 1993), Scott began working for Robert Givens in 1988. Givens & Johnston, PLLC, continues a Houston U.S. international trade law practice that Robert started in 1974. G&J assists its clients at the administrative level and/or in litigation in federal courts respecting a wide variety of civil import and export compliance issues involving laws and regulations administered by U.S. federal agencies within the Departments of Homeland Security, State, Commerce, including CBP, BIS, DTC, EPA, FDA, F&W, etc. Scott has written or contributed to legal articles on U.S. international trade regulation topics and regularly speaks to trade organizations and other groups on these topics.
